Rebekah has been taking pictures since she could hold a camera. She carried disposable cameras on all her school trips and vacations. She explored a videography class in middle school, and attended photography classes in high school where she learned how to use editing software to enhance her photos.
She helped make the yearbook during her senior year and that's how she began taking senior portraits for friends and classmates.

She has always loved looking at old photos from decades gone by, and wants to leave something for people like her to look at 50 years from now, wondering what life must have been like "back then." That's her why.

Rebekah Ries is a mixed-media artist based in Vancouver, WA. She loves to experiment with different patterns and techniques to create mandalas that can meld with a variety of aesthetics.
Her art comes from a place of relaxation and meditation, and she hopes that displaying her works can bring the same calm, centering feelings to your space, whether it's your bedroom, living room, or yoga studio.
She is an artist against generative AI and does not use any form of it in her artwork.
